Correct Rx Pharmacy Services, Inc. (Correct Rx) is a privately owned and operated institutional pharmacy whose focus is on the correctional pharmacy industry. Correct Rx is an S corporation owned by Dr. Ellen H. Yankellow, PharmD, Jill Molofsky, RPh and James Tristani, RPh. Correct Rx’s healthy balance sheet and robust client list speak volumes. Correct Rx has been in business for more than eight (8) years.

In that period of time Correct Rx has grown to a large multi-million dollar corporation with no debt and sufficient resources to service any client. More importantly, all of this was accomplished without any funding from venture capitalists. Correct Rx was immediately successful and profitable due to our years of correctional experience and the stellar reputation of the owners. We deliver exactly what we promise and our client list has grown exponentially as a result of our hard work, integrity and knowledge of the specific requirements of correctional facilities.

Correct Rx is a significant force in the Correctional Pharmacy Industry. Our ability to include new pieces of business in an organized manner with no disruption to our clients and the patients we serve is clearly documented. Correct Rx has transitioned over 200 correctional facilities in the past eight (8) years. Many of the large correctional systems were brought on with a very short start up timeline. This includes several statewide programs, the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Maryland Department of Juvenile Services, Maine Department of Corrections and Juvenile Services, Delaware Department of Correction and Michigan Bureau of Juvenile Justice. In addition, Correct Rx provides correctional services to large private correctional companies including GEO Care Inc. - U.S. Corrections Division, Advanced Correctional Healthcare and Conmed Healthcare Management.

Licenses and Certification

Correct Rx is a Maryland licensed institutional pharmacy in good standing with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy. There have not been any actions taken or any actions pending against our license in Maryland or any of the other 48 jurisdictions where Correct Rx is licensed. Correct Rx is a Woman-Owned and operated business certified by the Maryland Department of Transportation as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). Correct Rx has a corporate clinical department that works in conjunction with our dedicated Managing Director of Clinical Pharmacy Programs. Our on-site pharmacists are well versed in disease state management, pharmacy regulation, pharmacoeconomics, practicing in corrections, policy development, formulary and non-formulary management, Medication Therapy Management, drug information, clinical in-services, pharmacy and therapeutics, best practices, and patient education.
