Navigating the Complex Process of Residency Training
For third- and fourth-year pharmacy students, the beginning of the fall semester initiates the ritual anxiety over choosing the appropriate career path, deciding on whether to complete a residency, and sorting out the information designed to help in the process. "Did you do well on the exam?" is replaced by "So, are you doing PPS?" "Where are you doing your rotations?" becomes "How many residency programs are you considering?"
