CV Resume or Both?
When should job seekers use curriculum vitae, commonly referred to as CV, rather than a resume? A curriculum vitae is used primarily when applying for academic, education, scientific or research positions, fellowships or grants. If you haven’t already created your CV you should get started soon. For tips on what to include in your CV, click here.
Resumes are also very valuable to have on hand especially for online job boards, like Careerpharm and PPS. Employers are looking for a snapshot of your experience to gauge your compatibility. Once they’ve determined you’re a qualified candidate, they’ll want to know more about you and request your CV. For tips on creating a solid resume, click on Career Tools, at www.careerpharm.com
