With ASHP’s Midyear Clinical Meeting approaching in a few short weeks there are many things to look forward to. Among them and perhaps the most important are the great opportunities for networking. Networking involves making contacts and it has much more value than helping you land a job. Sure, it can be an effective way to learn about a career move but it is a great tool for helping you grow professionally in many other ways. If you’re attending the Midyear, set a goal for meeting at least two new people while you’re there. If you’re apprehensive about networking and you’re not exactly a social butterfly, try striking up a conversation with the person sitting next to you at a session. conversation going. Here are some more tips for Networking while at the Midyear. Job Title: Clinical Pharmacy Staff
