Pharmacy intern. Fill prescriptions, counsel patients with new prescriptions, transfer prescriptions, transcribe phone prescriptions, order stock.

VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
September 2008-present Austin Shelter Services, Austin, Texas
Participated in or conducted patient interviews as part of team of medical, pharmacy, podiatry, and physician assistant students. Counseled patients on both prescription and OTC medications dispensed during patient clinic visit. Participated in tobacco cessation counseling. Assisted in development of patient care plan. Measured patient blood pressure and blood glucose.
