Full-Time Assistant Director of Pharmacy

Methodist Hospital Southlake, Merrillville, IN

Description: As a CPS-employed Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Methodist Hospital’s Merrillville campus, you will be in charge of pharmacy operations. This campus has 39 employees, including full-time, part-time, and PRN Pharmacists, Technicians, and Pharmacy Aids. You will also work closely with Methodist Hospital’s Gary campus to ensure continuity of operations between the two sites. The hospital is transitioning to a new hospital information system and you will have to be an individual capable of leading this transition. You will have to be able to attend meetings at either campus and will be expected to cover either campus when necessary. Even though Methodist is comprised of two campuses, the pharmacy department operates as one entity of Methodist Hospitals, Inc.


Required/desired qualifications:

· PharmD or BS Pharmacy

· Current IN licensure in good standing required

· Previous experience in a hospital setting
