Director of Pharmacy
Pioneers Memorial Hospital
Brawley, CA.

$160K+ Salary and Sign On Bonus!

A “Gold Seal Hospital.” Pioneers Memorial Hospital is 107 bed acute care facility and has met the healthcare needs of the community since 1950. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, committed to providing state-of-the-art healthcare, and complemented by the highest quality of community education. The hospital has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.

A Scenic Desert Setting. The city of Brawley is located in the heart of Imperial Valley, one of the most fertile agricultural areas in the world and one of the most scenic desert areas in the great Southwest.

The Pharmacy is centralized and has Pyxis and Quadra Med systems. There is a Director and 12 Pharmacy Staff. The Director is an employee of CPS. The Pharmacy Staff are employees of the hospital. Pharmacy hours are M-F 7am-9pm and Weekends 7am-5pm.

CPS Provides the Support Needed to Succeed. As a Director of Pharmacy with CPS you will have a full support team available to you. From a Division VP, Regional Clinical Director, 340B Specialist, Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, other Directors and more.

We’ll rely on you to oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling and supervising activities in the hospital pharmacy according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws.

Qualifications Required:
· Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD)
· CA licensure in good standing
· Previous experience as a Pharmacist in an acute-care setting
· Previous pharmacy management experience and/or residency a plus
· Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
· Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff
