Job Description

Full-Time Staffing Director of Pharmacy
BCA Permian Basin
Midland, TX

Description: You will oversee all pharmacy operations at BCA Permian Basin, including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. In addition, you will perform staffing duties with the support of a pharmacy technician. These include filling orders with accuracy and checking technician-prepared products before release.

Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD)
- Current TX license in good standing
- Experience in a retail or hospital setting
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff

Facility: BCA Permian Basin is a 64-bed hospital that provides comprehensive and progressive inpatient services to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics facing mental illness, behavioral disorders, and family crises. Part of Behavioral Centers of America, BCA Permian Basin recently underwent a 1.5 million dollar renovation. The pharmacy is centralized and open weekdays from 8am to 5pm. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.
