Job Description
Full-Time Pharmacy Technician
BCA Permian Basin
Midland, TX
Description: As a pharmacy technician at BCA Permian Basin, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. This position will be 40 hours per week and you will work the day shift, 8am to 5pm.
Qualifications:
- Texas Pharmacy Technician Licensure active and in good standing
- CPHT a plus
- Hospital pharmacy or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Effective verbal, written communication skills and computer skills
Facility: BCA Permian Basin is a 64-bed hospital that provides comprehensive and progressive inpatient services to adolescents, adults, and geriatrics facing mental illness, behavioral disorders, and family crises. Part of Behavioral Centers of America, BCA Permian Basin recently underwent a 1.5 million dollar renovation. The pharmacy is centralized and open weekdays from 8am to 5pm. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.
