Job Description
Per Diem Pharmacy Technician
St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital / The Woodlands, TX
Description: You will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing; and auditing patient records. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- TX licensure required; national certification (CPhT) by PTCB preferred
- 6 months to 2 years of prior technician experience required
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience desired
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Facility: A 150-bed hospital, St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital is a member of the St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System. They provide compassionate care in a state-of-the-art facility that includes an emergency department, newborn and infant nurseries, diagnostic imaging services, labor and delivery rooms, family lounges on each floor, and more. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.
